Salaam Barbershop does not sell your personal information. We use trusted service providers to operate the app, website, booking system, authentication, database, email, and notifications.

• Firebase Authentication for account sign in, sign up, and password management.
• Firebase Cloud Firestore for customer, booking, service, barber, schedule, and message records.
• Firebase Cloud Functions for booking logic, account flows, notifications, reminders, and admin actions.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging and platform notification services from Apple and Google for push notifications.
• SendGrid for verification codes, password reset emails, booking confirmations, reminders, cancellation notices, and customer messages.
• Firebase Storage for service and barber images used by the app or website.

These providers process information only as needed to provide the requested functionality, maintain the service, and support security and delivery.

Email, Push Notifications, and Reminders

The app and booking system may send operational communications related to your account and appointments. These may include:

• Email verification and password reset codes.
• Booking confirmations after a new appointment is created.
• Appointment reminders, including reminders around 24 hours and 1 hour before the appointment time.
• Cancellation notices if the owner cancels your appointment.
• Responses or status updates for cancellation or reschedule requests.
• General customer messages sent by the barbershop owner.

You can manage push notification permissions in your device settings. Some emails are operational and may still be sent when needed to provide account security or booking-related service.

Retention, Security, and Your Controls

• Account and booking records are retained while needed to provide the service, keep booking history, support the business, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
• You may update your name and phone number in the app. Your email address is used as an account identifier and cannot be edited directly in the customer profile.
• You may request account deletion from inside the app where available. Deletion may remove or deactivate customer account data, subject to records the business must keep for legal, security, or operational reasons.
• You can revoke device permissions, disable push notifications, clear app data, or uninstall the app from your device settings.
• We use reasonable security measures, but no internet or cloud system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Account Deletion

If you created a customer account in the Salaam Barbershop app, you can request deletion from inside the app profile screen when the feature is available. You may also contact us by email for help with account deletion.

• In the app, open Profile and choose Delete My Account.
• You may be asked to confirm your password before deletion.
• You can also email booking@salaambarber.com with the email address linked to your account.
• Deleted account data may include your customer profile and account-linked app data.
• Some booking records may be retained when needed for business records, security, legal compliance, dispute handling, or fraud prevention.

Children and International Use

The app is intended for customers who are old enough to book appointments under the rules that apply in their location. If a parent or guardian believes a child provided personal information without proper permission, contact us so we can review the request.

The app may be used from different countries. Information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate.

Using the App and Website

By using the Salaam Barbershop app or website booking system, you agree to use the service lawfully, honestly, and only for real appointment and account purposes.

• You must provide accurate name, email, phone, and booking information.
• You must not create fake bookings, misuse cancellation requests, interfere with the service, or attempt unauthorized access.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• We may block or restrict customers who abuse the booking system, repeatedly miss appointments, provide false information, or violate these Terms.

Booking, Cancellation, and Schedule Terms

• Available time slots are shown based on the barbershop schedule, disabled days, blocked dates, break times, staff availability, and existing appointments.
• Submitting a booking request does not guarantee service if the appointment must be corrected, canceled, or adjusted by the owner.
• Customers cannot directly cancel confirmed appointments in the app. Customers may send a cancellation or reschedule request to the owner.
• Only the owner or authorized admin can cancel, edit, reschedule, confirm, complete, or mark appointment statuses.
• If the owner cancels an appointment, the system may send a push notification and email notice when contact information and notification permissions allow it.
• The barbershop may change services, staff, prices, booking rules, opening hours, and appointment availability at any time.

Service descriptions, prices, barbers, images, and appointment availability may change. We try to keep information accurate, but errors, delays, or temporary unavailability may occur.
